Christmas Tree Hunting

We had a great time tromping around in the snow.
After a while of good hiking we came over a steep ridge and found a bountiful herd of grand, noble and Douglas firs just sitting there grazing on sunlight. We couldn't believe our luck! It was almost like these trees were planted here! (see beautiful herd of mature firs in the background)

To The Park

It was a typical wet and nasty December afternoon in the Pacific Northwest. A strong storm was parked in the northern Puget Sound pumping blasts of high winds and showers on the sleepy town of Mt Vernon. Sam and I pulled on our rain gear and headed to Hillcrest Park.

Hello Family and Friends!

Here are a few photos of our recently expanded family. We have been home from the hospital for over a week and are doing great. Benny enjoys sleeping, eating and having his Dad rub his gassy tummy. We will attempt to post new pics and stories on our blog from time to time.
